  39. DESCRIPTION

  41.      With this program you can use wireless tablets manufactured by Wacom
  42.      with the Amiga.
  43.  
  44.      The tablet is connected to the serial port of your Amiga (Multi-I/O
  45.      boards are also supported.) The driver is suitable for tablets of the
  46.      SD, UD and KT series. Both the pressure-sensitive and the non-
  47.      pressure-sensitive modes are supported.
  48.  
  49.      The driver enables you to control the Amiga mouse pointer with your
  50.      tablet. Appropriate buttons on the tablet's input devices are mapped
  51.      to the normal mouse buttons. Therefore the driver can be used with
  52.      (almost) any program.
  53.  
  54.      Also, a software interface is implemented which enables you to map
  55.      unused buttons in your own applications and/or to use the pressure
  56.      and coordinates in your own applications. Some sample source in C is
  57.      included to demonstrate the usage of the interface.

  59.      Under AmigaOS 3.0 or better the tablet data is also directly used by
  60.      Intuition and passed to every window where an application can use it.
  61.      A small program with source in C is included to show how an application
  62.      can get the data from intuition using the Commodore tablet interface.

  64.      Driver settings are made using an intuitive graphics user interface
  65.      (GUI). Also, a German catalog file is supplied which you can use with
  66.      Workbench 2.1 or later.

  73.      New in Version 1.16 (07. November 1994):

  75.      * Now also supports the new KT series. (eg. ArtPad)

  77.      * UD tablets with a ROM version 1.2 or greater can be driven with
  78.        double resolution and double pressure range. This is also supported
  79.        now.

  81.      * The main window now also has menus.

  83.      * The cycle and button gadgets with keyboard access are highlighted
  84.        when the corresponding key is pressed.
  85.  
  86.      * The layout of checkbox gadget has changed. When running AmigaOS3.0 or
  87.        better they are looking much better with bigger fonts.

  89.      * The requester which appears when the tablet is not switched on now
  90.        has a retry-button for much easier reinitialising.

  92.      * Revised tablet recognition. It is now more flexible when some of the
  93.        internal tablet settings (DIP-switches or memory settings) are not
  94.        set to factory settings. But please set your tablet to factory de-
  95.        faults!

  97.      * Revised SD-510C handling. There have been problems with a certain
  98.        ROM-version of this tablet.

  100.      There is a major new version (2.0) in preparation. It is planned to be
  101.      released by the end of December or begining of January. This version
  102.      will finally include an AREXX-Port and a completly new mouse emulation
  103.      (likely to be faster than Amigamouse).
